This policy describes how BabeAtlas handles copyright claims submitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including takedown notices and counter notifications.

If you believe material on BabeAtlas infringes your copyright, your written notice must include the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
• A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on BabeAtlas.
• Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
• A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.

Incomplete notices may delay our review.

If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notification including:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of material that was removed or disabled, plus where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the applicable U.S. federal court jurisdiction.

After receiving a valid counter notification, we may restore the material unless the original claimant initiates court action within the statutory window.

Accounts associated with repeated copyright violations may be restricted or terminated.

Where applicable, we accommodate standard technical measures used by rights holders, consistent with the DMCA.

Submitting knowingly false claims may create legal liability under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f).
